It started with a
chance encounter.
It started with a chance encounter in 2017. I met an Army Special Forces veteran who was suffering from PTSD and had been prescribed CBD by his doctor. The problem wasn't the prescription — it was finding a reliable source. He was getting it from several small, ad-hoc labs, most of them unregulated, with little quality control.
That conversation made me look closer. Most of my friends and family were already using CBD — for stress, for sleep, for pain. The market was there. The trust wasn't.
